When branding and design studio Silk Pearce briefed me they wanted me to shoot exploding fruit, vegetables, cocoa and lavender in high resolution (230mb each) for their client Favini Papers. Millisecond accuracy was required. A millisecond too early and the energy would not have arrived. A millisecond too late and the action would be missed. There was only time for one frame at this resolution. I felt the images should be sharp but have a little motion to look real. This also needed to be repeatable. As a professional photographer this was a massive challenge to both make it repeatable and to get the timing constantly spot on. What you see here is what was shot with little retouch.

The brief was to create a large set of Halloween cocktail imgery for Sainsbury’s utilising a spooky theme, which included a whole array of props and dry ice.

The brief was to follow the moodboard created by Hills Creative, light, prop, style and arrange the serves and bottle images in line with the client’s expectations.

Find the locations, models with a global appearance, organise the whole production, right down to the catering, reccy the locations, produce and retouch the imagery.
